SALARY: $6,139.00 – $9,306.00 Monthly
SALARY NOTE: Although the full salary range for this position is provided, appointments are typically made at or near the range minimum.
FLSA STATUS: Exempt; position is not eligible for overtime compensation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, SUBSTITUTIONS, CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT & APPEAL RIGHTS:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with an advanced degree in Public Policy, the social sciences, behavioral sciences, or other related field;
Extensive Knowledge of Early Childhood in the Colorado Context:
- General knowledge of Early Childhood systems in Colorado, and specific knowledge of the programs contained within the Office of Early Childhood (OEC).
- The candidate must possess at least a basic knowledge of each of these programs, as well as extensive knowledge of a few.
- Process Improvement and Change Management Experience:
- Formal training in one or more process improvement strategies such as Lean and Six-Sigma, as well as change management practices such as ADKAR.
In addition to formal training, candidate must have had experience practicing at least one of these methodologies with organizations that changed policy or practice as a result.
Research and Evaluation Experience:
- At least five years of professional experience conducting research and data analysis related to a social or behavioral science field.
- This experience must have involved long term research projects, long standing program evaluations, or ongoing quality improvement/performance management efforts (i.e. semester class projects would not count as long term).
- Experience must have included the following:
- Conducting program evaluations or ongoing performance management,
- Statistical analysis software programs (e.g., SPSS, SAS, Stata or R).
Conditions of Employment:
- Must be willing to travel within the State of Colorado which may include occasional overnight stays
- Must possess a Colorado Driver’s License
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION:
The preferred candidate will exhibit the following:
- Experience in human services fields beyond early childhood;
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Access;
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral;
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and abilities;
- Demonstrated abilities in previous positions building relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- Additional depth and breadth of job-related experience;
