Manufacturing Rocks Program prepares for the first Teen Manufacturing Week to be held at BI Incorporated’s manufac-turing facility located in Boulder. July 10-13, 2017

The Goal: To engage a future workforce in manufacturing ca-reers, working with educators and parents to prepare the next gener-ation of manufacturers.

This is an excellent opportunity for students (8th to 12th grade) to learn more about
the many manufacturing opportunities that exist, not only here at BI Inc. but throughout the entire Front Range.

The way it works:

  • one day
  • 8 hours
  • Two teens (per day for 4 consecutive days, Monday-Thursday, July 10-13)
  • Repeat 3 times

Teens who are interested must submit a letter of introduction,

by email to kyle.kingrey@bi.com explaining why they are interested to

participate in learning more about manufacturing.

Letters must be received by June 30, 2017 to qualify for consideration.

Letters will be reviewed on a first come, first served basis.

Selected students will be notified by email and a follow up letter of instructions will be mailed to their home address.
